Friendly Henrys at NCFM
While it's going to be a hot day, we promise the North City Farmers' Market will be well worth a visit tomorrow. The Friendly Henrys will be performing from 9am-Noon. The Friendly Henrys are a St. Louis area Bluegrass/Country/Folk trio who perform throughout St. Louis city and region regularly. We're very excited about the band's performance this year. Pick up your groceries and then shake your groceries to this great group!
We have a diverse selection of local fruits, veggies, soaps, and crafts that will be available tomorrow, as well. Tomorrow's selection will include local peaches and blackberries from Thierbach Orchards in Marthasville, MO will be on sale, tomatoes and more from MK Fruits and Veggies. The Old North Grocery Co-op will be selling locally produced jams, meats, cheeses, and more. Jaymoo Productions will be selling soaps. Stuff N Things will have jewelry and aprons. International Institute will be selling items harvested from the Institute's Global Farms. El Chico will be selling fruit empanadas AND cookies this week. Del Carmen has beans, black bean soup (delicious served hot or cold), and broths. Plus, much more.
For the young (and the young at heart) we will have the sprinklers going, so that everyone stays cool and having fun!
Don't miss this week's market, like every Saturday, from 9am-Noon at N. 14th St. and St. Louis Ave. (across from Crown Candy Kitchen).
